about Steve Simpson

I received my professional training at The Institute of Psychosynthesis, London, qualifying as a Psychosynthesis Counsellor in 1996 and as a Psychosynthesis Psychotherapist in 1997. I also have a Diploma in Supervision and a Certificate as a Training Therapist. I am accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and a member of the Association of Psychospiritual Practitioners. Since 1996 I have worked in private practice in West and North West London. I am currently a supervisor and faculty member at the Institute of Psychosynthesis.

I have a BA(Hons) in Town Planning and worked for many years as a community worker in the inner city. Since 1984 I have been self-employed as a cartoonist/illustrator and trainer/consultant focussing on the voluntary and public sectors. I am also a painter and print-maker.

My interests include myth, story, and visual imagery and I seek to incorporate these creative strands in my work as a therapist, counsellor and supervisor
